Ph.D. Topic

As a Ph.D. candidate, I am interested in the air-sea/atmosphere-ocean interaction. I aim to study with the Global Earth System Model to investigate the relation between sea surface temperatures and precipitation. Besides, my other aim is to study the relation of extreme weather events like tornados and cyclones and sea surface temperature.

During my Ph.D., I focused on the formation and processes of the severe hail event. I analyzed the performance of the Weather Research and Forecasting Model on simulating a severe hail event by comparing results with the observation data such as station, radar, and satellite data. I was also interested in hydrological modeling and its calibration.
